Senior Pictures of Sierra – Class of 2011

This was certainly one of our favorite senior photo sessions we had this year. Not just because we found Sierra so easy to work with, but because we had two great new locations in the Troutdale area in which to shoot.  I truly believe Sierras vibrancy comes across in these images, so hopefully you too can get an idea of what a pleasure she was to photograph and be around.

Sierra plays clarinet, actually the same one her grandmother also played. When you look in the case there is a photo of her (grandmother) playing it.  What a great legacy to have passed along.

Sierra and her family loved (as did we) the variety of looks we captured with her. She graduated this year from Reynolds High School in Troutdale, Oregon.

Senior Pictures of Ted – Class of 2011

When we first met Ted he was in a three piece suit. Not every senior we photograph can pull this off comfortably, but Ted seemed quite at home in his. Although looking at his casual shoes you get a different feel for who really is.

We are always reminding our seniors to bring along something that shows their interests. Ted did not disappoint, he brought his saxophone which he could obviously play quite well, for us it was a great prop.

Ted changed into a couple other outfits as we moved to a few different locations ending up on the Vancouver riverfront which is one of our favorite areas. Ted is graduating this year from Mt. View High School here in Vancouver, WA.

Senior Photos of Trisha – Class of 2011

Trisha attends Century High School in Hillsboro Oregon and traveled the distance to us here in Vancouver for her senior pictures, we were flattered. It was a typical fall day here in the Pacific Northwest as it started to rain as soon as we got to our location.  We pressed on regardless.

Trisha is a quiet and shy girl, but opened up quickly as soon as we started creating some photos of her. We found her to be an absolute pleasure to work with and captured a good variety of images for her in less than an hour.

If you look below you’ll see two versions of  Trisha sitting in the leaves by the base of a tree, image #5 and #6.  I was unsure which to post here as I like them both in their own way.  I’d like to know which one do you prefer so feel free to leave your comments below.  Thanks for looking!
