Keenon – An Urban Vancouver HS Senior Shoot

We did a split session with Keenon. That is where we take a few images in the fall, to satisfy the need for a yearbook photo, and then finish off with a full session sometime in the spring. The only real challenge I had with Keenon was his change in prescription glasses between those times. If you look you’ll see some where he did not have his current UV darkening glasses. So we pulled out all our tricks to make the best of it. They actually worked to our advantage in some of the photos to give a bit of mystery when they were fully darkened. Overall they were all very happy with what we came away with and that is what matters to us, keeping our clients happy. Thanks for looking!

Zia – An Urban Vancouver Senior Photo Session

These are a few of our favorite images from Zia’s photo session with us.  She liked our Urban Vancouver location option, so we created most of these there for her.

She mentioned that she was studying photography at her school, but did not bring a camera with her to use as a prop to represent that.  Well not only did I have a few to let her use (imaging that); I actually had the exact camera model she had. How cool was that?

Zia was very comfortable in front of the camera and I love the variety of looks we came away with for her.

A Before & After Image

This is image is taken by another photographer from an online Photoshop completion which I enterd.

The top image is a RAW format image, which is basically an unprocessed image taken just as the camera recorded it with no enhancements or adjustments applied. Most digital cameras take images in a format known as JPG (by default) which are pre-processed automatically in the camera.  I myself always work with RAW files, as they give me the largest amount of data, and I can always revert back to the unprocessed original anytime.  This is probably why it’s known as a “Digital Negative”.

Both of these interpretations called upon quite a bit of Photoshop techniques and styles of my own to help improve upon this image.  So my two interpretations, color and black & white, are submitted here.

So which do you like best?

Daniel – High School Senior Photos

Here are a few images from Daniel’s senior photo session with us. Daniel is a musician, so we took a variety of looks of him with his sax, including a more formal look his mom wanted of him wearing his tux. While driving around, I noticed some magnetic musical notes on his moms van, so we put them on a gray metal door we found (second image below). He was a great subject who was very easy to work with. Thanks Daniel for giving us this opportunity to do your high school senior photos!

July 4th 2013 – Website Tune-Up Time

My goal earlier this year was to update our Canazzi Photographics website by The Fourth of July 2013.

Well that goal has now been met, and the site is now officially online.

Check it out and you’ll see a new overall look which is more reflective of who we are and in tune with our current branding.

There are also some new images, especially in the “Fine Art” area.

Thanks in advance for checking it out here,  and as always your input is always valued.
